Initial Account Setup
Follow these steps to get your account up and running:1
Create Your Account
Navigate to google.com/signup and enter your name, email address, and a strong password. You can also sign up using an existing Google or SSO provider account if your organization has one configured.

Verify Your Email
Check your inbox for a verification email from Google. Click the Verify Email button in the message. If you don’t see it within a few minutes, check your spam folder or click Resend Verification from the sign-in page.

Complete Your Profile
Once verified, you’ll be prompted to fill in your profile details. Add a display name, upload a profile photo, and set your time zone and preferred language. These settings affect how timestamps appear across the platform and how teammates identify you in shared spaces.

Choose a Plan
Review the available subscription plans on the Billing page. The Free plan is a great starting point for individuals, while the Pro and Team plans unlock higher usage limits, advanced search features, and priority support. You can upgrade at any time without losing your data.
Invite Team Members
Once your account is active, you can bring your colleagues onto the platform. Open Settings → Team and click Invite Members. Enter one or more email addresses separated by commas, then assign each invitee a role before sending.Owner
Full administrative control, including billing management, account deletion, and ownership transfer. Only one Owner per workspace.
Admin
Can manage team members, configure integrations, and adjust workspace settings. Cannot access billing or transfer ownership.
Member
Standard access to search, organize, and act on data within the workspace. Permissions can be further scoped by the Admin.
Manage Billing
Navigate to Settings → Billing to view your current plan, upcoming renewal date, and payment method. From this page you can:Upgrade Your Plan
Upgrade Your Plan
Click Upgrade next to any higher-tier plan to see a prorated cost summary. Upgrades take effect immediately — you’ll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing cycle, and your new limits apply right away.
Downgrade Your Plan
Downgrade Your Plan
Click Change Plan and select a lower tier. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. Make sure your current usage — such as the number of active team members or storage consumed — is within the lower plan’s limits before the cycle ends to avoid any service interruption.
View and Download Invoices
View and Download Invoices
All past invoices are listed under Settings → Billing → Invoice History. Click any invoice row to download a PDF receipt, which includes an itemized breakdown suitable for expense reporting.
If you are on an annual plan and want to add seats mid-year, the additional seats are billed at a prorated rate aligned to your renewal date. Contact support if you need a custom quote for large team expansions.
